I like to think of the homepage of this website as the front step to my house, the doormat you're standing on as you wait to be welcomed in. Well, this is me swinging open the door and saying, "Come on in! I'm so glad you're here!"

If you actually came into my home, you'd likely smell something cooking - homemade bread in the oven, a roast chicken going, sauces bubbling, seasonal salads, chocolate chip cookies - the works. You'd also probably see dishes in the sink and pureed baby food smeared on the counter, an opened book next to a half empty, gone-cold cup of coffee on the table, and baby toys sprinkled around an attempt at an aesthetically decorated home.

That's what you'll find here, too. A little mess, a little magic.
