I believe in magic.
I believe in wonder and awe and curiosity and in making things beautiful. I believe that we were created in the image of a creative God, and that means something.

I believe in the relentless pursuit of joy. Like Mary Oliver says, joy is not a crumb. Like I say, it's a four course meal and there's always dessert. I believe in a slowed down life; one at the pace of our bodies, not our phones.

I'm a reader, a writer, a beginner film photographer, a wannabe home cook, a sometimes painter, sometimes scrapbooker, and I'm always looking for the next art. I think we should all dance more and sing louder, and not just at church. I believe a big and overflowing life doesn't have to be shiny, it just has to be real and here and now.
